MVM Vehicle Control: Safety, Order and Responsibility

MVM has around 100 vehicles in daily operation, a large proportion of which are commercial vehicles that reliably serve our customers day in and day out. To ensure that every vehicle remains safe, clean, and ready for use, we conduct our annual MVM vehicle inspection. This is a central component of our safety culture and ensures that our people, machines, and equipment are always in optimal condition.

Safety begins with preparation

Before the inspection begins, personal responsibility is required. Each team member carefully prepares their vehicle to ensure the process runs smoothly and no time is lost.
This includes cleanliness, order, and ensuring that all necessary documents and equipment are present. This preparation demonstrates professionalism and respect for one's workplace and ensures that the inspection day runs smoothly and efficiently.

A clear process for a smooth day with vehicle inspection

To make the day efficient, the vehicle inspection is carried out in small groups. Each team is given a fixed time slot to complete all checkpoints.
All employees know in advance when it is their turn, ensuring that the inspection process runs smoothly without waiting times and minimizes lost productive working time. This structured planning allows all vehicles to be inspected efficiently and thoroughly, from the first to the last vehicle of the day.

Comprehensive control for maximum security

The annual inspection includes various testing steps covering technical, organizational and safety-related aspects.
In addition to vehicle technology, equipment, tools, and personal protective equipment are also checked. This ensures that our employees are always on the road with flawless and complete equipment.
The focus is not only on the vehicle, but also on awareness of occupational safety and care in the daily handling of machines and equipment.

Vehicle inspection: Technology, order and responsibility

Special emphasis is placed on vehicle maintenance and the general condition of work equipment. Clean and tidy vehicles not only create safety but also reflect respectful treatment of one's workplace.
Treating your vehicle with care shows respect for our shared work and helps ensure that our fleet remains operational in the long term.

Learning, praising, and developing

Once the inspection is complete, the results are jointly evaluated. The aim is not to point out errors, but to highlight the diligence and commitment shown.
Particularly conscientious employees are recognized, and where there is potential for improvement, we provide targeted support with tips and training. This approach promotes open communication about security issues and strengthens the awareness that continuous improvement is part of our culture.

Together for real-world safety

Vehicle inspections are far more than just a check; they are a living expression of our corporate culture. They demonstrate that safety and responsibility at MVM are not delegated to individual departments, but are shared by everyone.
This day demonstrates how deeply team spirit and mutual support are ingrained in our daily work. Colleagues help each other, offer advice, and work together to ensure that every vehicle meets MVM's high standards.

Conclusion: Responsibility that moves people

The annual vehicle inspection stands for safety, quality and order, but also for the attitude with which we work at MVM: carefully, respectfully and together.
This ensures that our vehicles are not only technically sound, but also clean, safe and ready for use at all times.

Because at MVM the following appliesSafety begins with each individual and only ends when everyone arrives safely.
