What is Lean Management?

Lean Management is a fundamental approach aimed at improving process quality and efficiency. The key principles are:

  • increase in efficiency by avoiding waste
  • Customer and value orientation in all processes
  • Increase in quality in processes, products and services
  • Reduction of lead times and costs
  • Sustainable anchoring of a culture of improvement through CIP
  • Transparency through key figures and standardized processes

We rely on the 5S method for order and cleanliness in the workplace, focus on the 7 Muda (Types of waste) and use modern digital tools for visualization, transparency and control.

Our leadership approach: Lean as a lived culture

A key success factor is the consistent involvement of managers. For us, lean leadership means:

  • On-site tour (“Gemba”) and real presence
  • Clear target agreements with measurable results
  • Transparent escalation processes in case of problems
  • Regular training and coaching on lean methods
  • Team development and change management

Only when managers embrace the lean mindset themselves can it become established in their teams. That's why we consistently invest in training and awareness-raising.

Sustainability through standardization and certification

To ensure the long-term success of our lean management, we rely on:

  • Annual internal training on Lean tools, processes and leadership principles
  • External certificationsthat document the sustainability of our Lean organization
  • Digital toolsthat are continuously being developed (Power Platform, BI, AI-based automation)
